Today we talked in some detail about the virtual protest, "Blackout SOPA" that occurred on Wednesday of this week. Did you miss it? Wikipedia, Reddit, Google and an estimated tens of thousands of other websites joined in to help raise awareness for the opposition of the Stop Online Privacy Act (SOPA) and the Protect IP Act (PIPA).
IDEaS Computers has no official stance on either of these bills, other than to inform you about what they are and give you some links to further resources so you can spend some time learning about these, and become aware of their consequences if they get passed into action.
While there are plenty of resources below from both sides of the debate, I'd encourage you to read up on the actual texts, especially if you are concerned with the accuracy or bias of any of the commentaries listed below.
