Honor Flight Southwest Minnesota

From their homes in southwest Minnesota, more than 100 World War II veterans are invited to make the journey to the World War II Memorial in Washington D.C. As honored guests on this mission, they encounter many special people—including hundreds of active-duty service personnel, younger veterans and school children—who despite the passing of many years want simply to say “thank you” to the veterans for their military service. Local service and business groups sponsored and organized the trip for the veterans.
