FLOWER POWER!

The Worthington Area Chamber of Commerce through the Community Improvement Committee is sponsoring a “Flower Power – Yard of the Week.” This week’s recipient is Debra Miller – 1301 Marine Avenue.

The committee also picks two businesses per month to share in the honor of “Flower Power – Business of the Month.” The first recipient for June is McCarthy’s Floral – 1526 Oxford Street.

Anyone is eligible to nominate a residence or a business as a candidate for the “Flower Power – Yard of the Week” or “Business of the Month” Awards. Nominations can be made by calling the Worthington Area Chamber of Commerce office at (507) 372-2919.

If you know of a landscape or garden project that has enhanced physical attractiveness of your neighbors, friends, relatives, etc., property and if you believe it deserves consideration for an award, you are urged to make a nomination.
